Bodywork

Move Better, Feel Better, Live Better

How fluid is your movement?
How relaxed is your stance?
How comfortable are you in your body?
How calm are you in your space?

My bodywork has evolved in recent years toward a meridian balancing (meridian therapy) approach to bring balance to body (muscles, etc.) and mind (stress).

Acupressure (amma, shiatsu, tuina, auriculotherapy & jin shin styles) and kinesiology (Touch for Health® and K-Power®) are combined with cupping, neuromuscular, myofascial and other Western massage techniques and approaches to meet the individual clients needs and priorities for relaxation & stress relief, structural alignment, improved range of motion, and specific musculoskeletal problems.

My primary bodywork approach for table work is an “Asian” acupressure approach (clothes on – loose fitting, comfortable, preferably natural fabrics)
-or-
You may choose a more “traditional” Western neuromuscular approach (clothes off to your comfort level and appropriately/legally draped with some oil).

Kinesiology sessions are clothes-on and may be standing, sitting, or on a table.  Some kinesiology techniques are also often incorporated into table or chair sessions.
